Each volunteer is required to complete TWO shifts in order to be eligible for Volunteer Perks and maintain their “good standing” status. If you would like to only volunteer for one shift you are quite welcome to but you will not be eligible for Volunteer Perks. All volunteers must work at the sale on Saturday from 7:30am – 1:00pm. You can then choose your second shift from:
Friday: 12noon-3:00pm (set up)
Friday: 3:00 - 6:00pm (layout)
Saturday: 2 - 5pm (clean up)
Unforeseen circumstances do happen (e.g. death in the family) and you may not be able to make your shift. In this situation, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator by telephone or email as soon as possible. If you give 24 hours notice and have NOT participated in the pre-shop already, you can maintain your “good standing” status as a volunteer. Volunteers who pre-shop on Friday night and then miss their Saturday shift will lose their “good standing” status.
